The Whispering Wall has always amazed me since I was young. I could not understand how it worked, but it made it all the more mysterious and magical.
The truth is not so much magical, as it is a principle of Physics. If you stand against the wall and whisper something, the person on the other side of the dam can hear you more than 100ms away.
